We are so excited to welcome Shakara Dickerson to Carolina Life Properties!

Shakara is a native and life-long resident of Asheville, she is connected to WNC through the people, family and neighborhoods she’s grown-up in. Prior to becoming a Realtor, Shakara spent a decade working in construction as a recruiter of Executives, Operations Managers, Project Managers, and Superintendents. She was promoted to Manager at a large commercial mechanical contracting company before starting her own recruiting business.

 

She began her formal career as a realtor in 2021 but became interested in real estate through her father who is a real-estate developer and her stepmother, who is a realtor. Shakara and her husband are currently growing a portfolio of single-family rental homes and will expand to multi-family rentals in the coming year. Her knowledge was learned from her parents, by planning the construction of a new duplex, and even through the DIY restoration of a home built in 1893!  She is happy to offer this experience with multiple types of homes and in overcoming all the obstacles involved while navigating your home-buying experience.
